Brain Candy for the Socially Obsessed and/or Wannabe

I have a confession to make: I don’t get invited to the season opening of the Met. People don’t bring me designer clothes, coif my hair or apply my make-up. In fact, I don’t even have “people”. And not working for a living would not be the best choice for me. However, if you are interested in persons (20 and 30 something year olds) who have “people”, get invited to the most exclusive events, and genuinely have to consider whether working a “traditional” job would be best, then Mr. Kurisunkal’s blog is for you (Mr. Kurisunkal is featured with socialite Tinsely Mortimer above-image by Patrick McMullan). While the blog is short on commentary (“just the facts sir”) it is long on large glossy pictures of the “it” men and women (mostly women) of NYC at their exclusive events. There must be many of these events because Mr. Kurisunkal posts every few days. However be warned: there are periods of up to two weeks where Mr. Kurisunkal will not post. Rarely is explanation given for the absences. But when the site is alive again…I’m hooked…again. Best yet, I can search my favorite socialite and get all the posts and pictures concerning her. Check out the blog, you’ll love it. But if you’re not inclined this may hook you. Mr. Kurisunkal a mid-westerner who had never been to NYC or met these women to say the least, started this blog because he loved socials, and now….they love him back (he has since been to NYC and met some of the objects of his affection). Is that a story made in blog heaven or what?
